Environment Policy

Tapex recognizes that proactive responses to environmental changes and the safety and health of workers are key elements of sustainable management. Based on this, we have established and run a company-wide environmental management system that can proactively take preventive actions for environmental issues and environmental management activities, and create a safe working environment by thoroughly controlling safety accidents and health risks.

Environmental Management Policy

Tapex should recognize environmental management as a major factor of corporate management, and systematically build and implement the management system for continuous improvement, thereby will contribute to the local community and do its best to preserve the global environment.

  • Advanced Environmental management system (ISO14001)

    Tapex should establish and effectively implement an environmental management system to minimize the environmental impact caused by our activities, products or services.

  • Expansion of eco-friendly products

    We should strive to expand eco-friendly products through continuous improvement for environmental preservation during the entire process from production, distribution, use, and disposal of products.

  • Environmental protection and pollution prevention

    We should reduce waste through efficient process management and expansion of recycling, and minimize the emission of environmental pollutants by operating optimal prevention facilities.

  • Response to Climate Change

    We should contribute to the prevention of global warming by practicing carbon emission reduction by optimizing energy use.

  • Compliance with environmental laws and objectives

    We should comply with international environmental conventions, laws, and environmental standards required by customers, and continuously improve its level of management.

  • Open management (enhancing trust through transparent environmental information disclosure)

    We should conduct regular education to raise awareness of the importance of the environmental management system to all executives and employees, and practice transparent environmental management by disclosing environmental policies to the general public.

Occupational Safety and Health Policy

To establish a safety culture that complies with the basics, Tapex should prevent industrial accidents through voluntary participation of employees and aggressive H&S(health and safety) activities, and implement the following H&S policies to create a human-centered and safe workplace.

  • We should set health and safety management as the top priority and implement continuous improvement and prevention activities for workers’ better health and safety.
  • We should thoroughly comply with health and safety laws and safety rules in accordance with company regulations.
  • We should promote workers’ and process safety through periodic risk assessment, and willingly participate in the activities to improve potential risk factors.
  • We should strive to strengthen education and training to foster safety awareness and practical ability, and establish a safety culture.
  • By continuously implementing the health and safety management system for systematic health and safety control, we should take the lead in realizing accident-free workplaces.
  • This policy is based on the active participation and practice of all executives and employees, and is transparently disclosed to internal and external stakeholders in principle.
